BIM-Assisted Workflow Enhancement for Architecture Preliminary Design

China’s urban housing demand has directly influenced urbanization development. To stabilize the level of urbanization, it is urgent to optimize whole life-cycle efficiency construction and preliminary design as first step even more significant. Building Information Modeling (BIM) widely used information technology in industry promote implementation management projects. However, traditional approach still occupies mainstream market without forming a systematic BIM workflow, which causes inefficiency. address this issue, research aims construct BIM-assisted workflow enhance architecture. This study creates workflows for comparative analysis capture duration data with questionnaire validate by practical simulation. The findings show that consumes less time than workflow. indicates can significantly reduce operation deserves be strongly promoted Chinese Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry.
